* Barber scowls as the fight goes on. When it has finished he shakes his head. *
Look, why did'nt you close him down, fight toe-to-toe?
* Nethos looked at him * I wanted to win, that's why. Even handicapped, he beat me. Biut if I had tried to fight him toe to toe, with his slight skill advantage and bigger weapon - and the fact he's a Dwarf and they can take more punishment than humans, on average - means I would have given him more of an advantage.

She sighs and rolls her eyes at Barber's back. The man was an idiot. If he had a brain, it must have been on a permanent vacation.

* Rockcrusher allows no more talk, but instea has the students resume weapons exercises until the lesson was over. *

She returns her attention to the exercises, wasting no more thoughts on that silly human, instead going through her plans for the remainder of her day.

* The lessons for the day draw to an end and Rockcrusher dismisses everyone with a word of congratulations, and asks them all to return next week for the third week of the course. *

She bows at the others and leaves the dojo. Interesting lesson, silly human notwithstanding. Ah well...She leaves the building, heading to the Centre.

*Nethos returns to the Masters after an absence of some weeks, looking cheerful.*
*He negotiates the rights to use the training facilities, paying the Masters off with three nice gems - a ruby, emerald and sapphire collectively worth thousands of jink - and proceeds to run through sparring partners like nobody's business.*

*Nethos leaves the Masters, having faced all the opposition they could muster and the Master's time being a little too much for his purse.*
