*gasp shock horror* Egon Spengler... 1/3 (or later on 1/4) of the Ghostbusters! And Dr Daniel Jackson, 1/4 of SG1! Y'know... Stargate! I forgive you, you have been living tv-less for so long.

Is it really of vital importance if Shakespeare was one man or two?
Is it truly a world-shaking revelation when TS Eliot claims that at any one given point in time, all texts created before that point in time exist simultanously?
Will making a distinction between "writer" (someone who writes) and "author" (someone who has created a work of literature) save lives?
How many pointless things do humans invent to kill the time before they die?
Is it truly necessary to fill our time solving self-made problems?
If you do, in CS Lewis' words, neither what you ought nor what you truly, deeply like, aren't you wasting precious time?
Is a thing, any thing, that does not make anyone happy actually worth doing?

Pie... what is it, really? Is it food? is it an indulgence? or perhaps more?
I mean pie doesn't do anything but make you feel good, it doesn't judge you, it only gives... peace.
so let us all look unto the PIE! great and powerful! will it end war? yes! will it end hunger? yes! will it make life worth living? yes, yes, YES!!!
LET US GO FORTH FROM OUR LIVES AND MISFORTUNES AND GIVE PRAISE TO THE PIE! LET IT TAKE YOU INTO ITS WARM LOVING EMBRACE, LET IT TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR PAIN AND HATE! LET IT LOVE YOU AND HOLD YOU TO ITS CHEERY, APPLE CUSTARD EVEN LEMON FILLED GOODNESS!!! ;D
Let all who would look on the pie as nothing more then food be condemned, condemned to A life with no pie a life... with no happiness, a life not ever lived...
So come one and all male or female, white or black gay or strait! COME! and be one with the pie, love it and it will love you, it... will never... judge... you...

Hm. I'd say Alex, but Alex doesn't come on here that much. Then I'd say Sin, but it's actually spelled pretty well. Maybe Elan, but she'd make it Pie God dess. Okay, I give up.

Boys and girls of every age Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see This, our town of Halloween
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright It's our town, everybody scream In this town of Halloween
I am the one hiding under your bed Teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red
I am the one hiding under your stairs Fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair
This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
In this town, don't we love it now? Everybody's waiting for the next surprise
Round that corner, man hiding in the trash can Something's waiting now to pounce, and how you'll scream
Scream! This is Halloween Red 'n' black, slimy green
Aren't you scared?
Well, that's just fine Say it once, say it twice Take the chance and roll the dice Ride with the moon in the dead of night
Everybody scream, everybody scream
In our town of Halloween
I am the clown with the tear-away face Here in a flash and gone without a trace
I am the "who" when you call, "Who's there?" I am the wind blowing through your hair
I am the shadow on the moon at night Filling your dreams to the brim with fright
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
Tender lumplings everywhere Life's no fun without a good scare
That's our job, but we're not mean In our town of Halloween
In this town
Don't we love it now?
Everyone's waiting for the next surprise
Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back And scream like a banshee Make you jump out of your skin This is Halloween, everyone scream Won't ya please make way for a very special guy
Our man Jack is king of the pumpkin patch Everyone hail to the Pumpkin King now
This is Halloween, this is Halloween Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
La la-la la, Halloween! Halloween!
HAPPEy HALLOWEEN!!!

The closer we come to Christmas, the more hostile people become. The more daring in their crimes. In one of the reports on theft and security I got at work, it said someone had thrown things all over the front, and dragged down a trash can and threw it to the ground when they were asked to clarify on their refund, asked for their names and so forth. Very obviously someone who was trying to not get caught in a false refund.
Furthermore, this is the time of the year that theft, car theft, and fraud is at its highest.
So strange, isn't it? How at a time when people are supposed to get together, they tear themselves and each other apart.

No one has posted here for over a year. That's a random thought, isn't it?
