It is tough.
Master Andrewin is an extremely learned man. I learn from him every time we speak.
My combat training sessions are generally with those less accomplished, but only to give me some chance of surviving more than a few seconds. Master Andrewin supervises these.
My skills are now far more advanced than Master Haye can teach. Not a reflection on him, you understand. Simply that he has never learned the ways I am now being trained in.

We each have our own paths. Mere has taken a very different path from the one you walk.

* She nods. * Yes. Once I thought my path might lie elsewhere, but events have led me here. Which might be for the better, even though Master Haye was so hurt.

It was not at all pleasant. Still he survived, and "what does not kill us makes us stronger". They are very fond of that saying here.

Aye, I can teach ye. I can teach ye a lot, or a little, dependin' on what ye want to know.
Do ye wish to follow the path of the weapon master, learnin' to focus yer ki through yer weapon? Mastery of the techniques of mobile fightin' and the whirlwind attack? Or just use that weapon o'yourn a touch better?

Victus meows and rubs up against Xeno.< Ah be wantin' ta learn me weapon a touch better first. Then, ah was thinkin' o goin' inta the path o the weapon master, to learn everything ah need ta know about me axe. Me developement might be a touch slower than ye usual student, since ah'm also learnin' some tricks from Master Zohar.

* He studies Oskar for a while. *
Alright then laddie. Let's see how ye go with a good weapon in yer hands.
* He leads the way to a dojo where he shoos out a couple of meditating students. He selects a dwarven waraxe from the rack of practice weapons, and invites Oskar to choose a weapon to use. *
See if ye can hit me laddie.
