Using the confusion surrounding the fallen captain, Míriel walked to the fortress and inside, still taking care not to be seen.

No one notices her, as they are all very busy with the captain, who seems to be rather well liked.
Inside the place itself, the halls are rather heavily patrolled, with a few of the people in safe keeping wandering around with an escort. There are rooms all about, and several places with switches along the walls.

She walked further in, scowling some. Now to find the blasted man. She did not see the Vestran, not that she expected to. She started searching for Kraxas, keeping out of sight and listening for possible indicators. Guards complaining about a safe person's behaviour, and such.

There are nearly constant guard patrols, and they keep fairly quite as they move along. There is only one instance where they mention a ratty merchant, but that is about it.

Hmm...ratty, weaselly...Humans were all annoying, even more when they tried to be clever. Selling the guards their own swords...She waited until they had passed, and backtracked the way they had come from. The complaints sounded very recent.

She finds herself in a hall with doors on both sides. There are a total of forty doors, 20 to each. The floor slopes downwards, obviously moving down into the ground.

For a fleeting moment she wished she had met the man before. Knowing what he sounded like would help. She walked down the corridor, listening and looking inside the rooms if possible, still keeping herself out of sight.

Most of the rooms are quiet, but there is one where a man seems to be talking to himself and walking back and forth.
The air has that same very faint smell of the grave again, near this door.

This was the room. She could smell that Vestran. Míriel looked around her to ensure there were no guards in the corridor, that the man was alone in his cell, and that the door wasn't trapped in any way, before she very carefully tried to open the door.

The door didn't have any traps on it.
When Yattara opens the door, she feels something pass through it before her, and the smell passes into the room.
Kraxas sniffs and looks to the door. When he sees Míriel, he grins.
"Hellohellohello, pretty woman! You wouldn't happen to be from a certain house in Elysium, would you...?"

One of those. Míriel closed the door behind her. She pulled her shoulders backwards, stood a bit straighter, all the techniques employed to show off your figure better. She smiled at Kraxas as she walked towards him.
Yes I am. her voice soft, almost purring.
She stayed between the man and the door. This was easy, she knew where her dagger was.

Kraxas happily grins in that ratty sort of way and approaches her. As he does so, Vera appears behind him, smiling and waiting. He doesn't notice.

She saw Vera appear in the corner of her eye, but kept looking at Kraxas, not even a flicker in the direction of the Vestran. She reached out her hand and stroked his face when he was close enough, using the distraction to slowly draw her dagger with her other hand. Her head moved forward as if to kiss him.

Kraxas grins and quickly kisses her, tugging at her clothes as he does so.
Vera raises her sycthe arm up and grins at Yattara as it descends towards Kraxas.

She returned the kiss, ignoring his tugging at her dress. He could have some meager fun. She kept his face close to hers, to keep him from seeing anything that might spook him, though he looked very wrapped up in what he was doing. Her other hand had gotten the dagger out, and she struck it towards his belly, aiming to put the dagger between his ribs.
