Who the Queen is, or was, is not known, but rumour has it that she was the greatest actress in Eluria. Her name and fame have faded in the mists of time, and hardly anybody recalls who she was.
The bar stands in the middle of Elysium, providing for both thespians and their admirers, and it always does a brisk business. The sign shows the two actor's masks (one crying and one laughing) with a elaborate crown encircling both and the name in swirling letters written underneath.
Inside the first thing that strikes the new visitor is the amount of portraits on the walls. Portraits of both old and new stars. Getting hung here is considered a real honour and a sign that you've got it made as an actor.
The staff is fast and competent, some bouncers at the ready to remove the occasional obnoxious fan.

Calurin enters, and is quickly approached by one of the waitresses, a cheery blonde human in her twenties. She leads him to a private booth.
"Thank you my dear."
She smiles and quickly gets him his drink, setting it on the table before he's properly sat down. He smiles at her and turns his attention to the woman sitting opposite him. Her chestnut-brown hair hangs down to her shoulders, within easy reach of her nervous hands. Calurin smiles at her, reaching across the table and taking her hands in his.
"Calm down my dear."
"I'll try...sir."
"Please, call me Calurin. We're not at the Academy here."
"Yes, si...Calurin."
She bites her lip, getting second thoughts. He distracts her by kissing her hands and she blushes.
"Do you want another drink, dear?"
"No..no thanks, Ca-Calurin."
"Shall we then?"
She just nods, not trusting her voice, and follows him as they get up and take the stairs up to Calurin's room here.

Calurin walks back down, immaculately dressed as always. He settles his bill, as the woman gingerly joins him, still a bit nervous. Upon closer inspection, which neither the staff nor the clientele seem wont to do, she appears to be around 17, 18. Calurin turns to her and smiles.
"I'll see you tomorrow in class, my dear."
"Yes, Calurin."
He leaves the bar, not looking back. She lingers for a moment longer, then leaves, heading in another direction than he did.

He appreciated this place. The service was good, the people discreet and selectively blind.
The earthquake, when it hits, catches him in the middle of what is a solo dinner. He sits and thinks for a while, after the strike. The wrongness - the only way he could phrase it was that it struck a chord with something inside him. He felt vaguely dirty afterwards.

He's walking downstairs as the quake hits and grabs the banister to steady himself. What in the Hells...? He feels queasy and doesn't even try to flirt with the waitresses as he settles his bill for this day.

(He had found himself at the Friends more often than not nowadays. The company was congenial, no questions were asked, and there were not a few ladies quite interested to meet him after his performances here. Quite a good life, really.
Somehow though, things were a little - off. Nothing seemed as good as it used to. A vague feeling of dissatisfaction - of something wrong.
Ennui, maybe. He began to wonder whether it was time to move on.

He stood and went upstairs, coming down with his travelling gear.)
"Off out sir?"
"Yes, just an errand to run. I will be absent most of the day though. Have someone cover for me tonight."
"Of course milord. Have a good day."
"Thank you."
(He smiles, bows and leaves.)
