Slowly being phased in, a tall white-grey building, with a few spyres pointing towards the sky, appears on one side of the park. On the outside of the building, decorations are sparse, save for the words carefully carved into the wall near the huge double doors that make up the entrance. They read: All Souls Churchin every known language, and some not known. There are altars to every deity that was and is and shall be, to abstracts and constructs. Novices tend to all the altars equally, cleaning them and keeping them in good condition. Some parts are open to the sky. Some parts are deep underground, or fast caverns of water. Behind the Church, out of the direct sunlight, lies the graveyard. It's not very big, about a hundred normal graves and a handful of crypts for the more affluent person and priest. The ground and the crypts are well kept. At the back of the Church are the sleeping-halls of the novices, the private chambers of the Keeper of All Souls, Julia of Hillsdown, and Eleni NaToril's rooms. Rules: - Obey the board-rules.
- All faiths are equal. No dogmas or opposing faiths attacking each other on consecrated grounds.
- Sacrifices are allowed, but clean up the mess yourself. The novices won't, no matter what you do or say.
- If a particular altar is not here, feel free to add it yourself. Evil and dark gods are as allowed as good and light gods.
- Entrance to Julia's and Eleni's chambers: on invitation only. They are not open to everybody. Please respect our privacy.
- No destroying the building or altars.
- No killing of the novices [unless it's a major event, and not without consulting me (Julia) whether it's a major event beforehand.]
Staff: Keeper: Julia of Hillsdown. Head of novices: Jenssen. Deputy head: Meridel.

*sensing something happening to the building, the novices stay inside, until the sensation ends. Jenssen walks to the exit and looks out. Instead of the familiar skyline of the Kingdom, there's now a totally different city surrounding the Church. He walks back inside, wondering how to tell the rest.*

*She takes them to a room, still carrying a sleeping Tirith. She puts him on one of the beds and looks at him.*
I knew that time moved differently in the Divine Realms, but it's always a surprise to see it in effect.

He turns to Tirith and Julia.* Yes... some Planes have a very different timeline than others. One of the layers of the Abyss runs backwards where life is concerned.

*she blinks.*
Can't say that surprises me much, though. Given the Abyss' usual attitude towards life...
*she sits down on one of the other beds, her legs stretched out in front of her.*
What happened almost makes me hesitant to die. *she shakes her head.* Ok, wrong wording, but you get what I mean? I wouldn't want to die if that means ending up in a place like that. How can Angels do things like that?
*she looks at her boots.

Tengfou sounded like a Demon. Those were Fallen. That was not Mount Celestia, Olympia, or the Beast Lands, either. That was some other place. That was no paradise. Perhaps it used to be, but no longer. You serve Tyr, correct? You would likely end up on Mount Celestia. Celestials are not like those monsters.

If that was a paradise, then I wonder to whom.
I see now what you mean. Those who have farthest to fall, fall the hardest.
*she looks at Satorius again.*
Aye, I serve Tyr. And I've been to Mount Celestia, though I can't remember much of it. Only that I want to return there when my time's finally come.
I know first-hand that Celestials are not like those so-called Angels. Or else I wouldn't call them my friend.
*she smiles at him.*

Even with an infinite lifespan, I'm sure my time will eventually come. Has come a few times before, in fact. *He smiles back* You have always been one of my greatest friends, Julia.

I'm looking forward to that day. After I'm done here, that is. Yes, I know that. But you're still here. And you're one of the best friends I've ever had also. *she grins.*

Aye, too true. We were both too busy with Faith, I guess.

*she laughs* Aye, too true. We were both too busy with Faith, I guess. I suppose so. Keeping her from getting herself killed. *He smiles* A full time job with no benefits, that.

(He enters the Church and looks around. Yes, this was All Souls. The same altars, the same small number of people. He spied a familiar face.
"Amber? Can you tell me where Catriona is please?"
(She came over and bowed.) "Hello Lord Mellinore. Catriona is is a room at the back, with Milady and Satorius."
(She led the way to the room and knocked.)

No health plan, lousy pay But I did find out who my friends were, and that weighs much more than the other benefits.
