*He grins.*
Sounds like a pretty good arrangment, to me. Does everyone have it that well off?

The other psions? They're bad off, then?
*He cocks his head again, curiously.*

All Psions are Third Class Citizens. Slaves, basically. Kronos made them monsters in the public eye, took them in, and made them into his special assassins. They serve or their people die. A Psion, unlike some Third Class Citizens, can never be free.

*He cocks his head a bit more, curiously.*
You said the other psions. I take it you escaped this fate somehow?

I'm above many of the laws. Also, no one really expected a Vestran to be born with the ability to use Psionics. We are born to magic, not Psionics. Somehow, I ended up with it.

*The Hinnael nods his head.*
I see. Makes a certian amout of sense, I guess. Does being born to magic have anything to do with the grave following you?

Vera nods.
Yes. That has everything to do with that.

*He cocks his head more, obviously very intrigued.*
So the grave follows your entire race?

Vera chuckles and shakes her head.
No, only some of us. Each of us has a different aspect, as we call it. Death is my aspect.
Here's an example: remember how I said Kronos Ur Draxa has complete control over fire? That's because fire follows him. That's his aspect.

*The Hinnael rubs its chin, thinking.*
Sounds like things could get mighty dangerous, living among your people.

*The Hinnael rubs its chin, thinking.* Sounds like things could get mighty dangerous, living among your people. Vera laughs and grins, tapping her sycthe on the floor. If only he knew...Very. We're civilized, at least most of us, but the Vestrans have a very dangerous life, being so powerful as to attract attention from just about everything, eventually even Gods if you live long enough. Which isn't much of a problem, since we have infinite lifespans.

*The Hinnael nodded his head, not seeming surpized by this. If anything, his posture is that of respect.*
"That's quite the feat, living forever. Many would envy you that. Dispite the danger, though, it seems like you would have had it pretty good off where you come from. So, why come here?"

I just followed him. I don't really care where I go, as long as there's something to do.

*The Hinnael grins. Plainly, he understands that very well.*
Not many two-leggers speak that much sense. Did your brother come here just to find something to do, or did he have some other reason?
