I always find this interesting, an extension of my question in the Curiosity thread:
Why did you make your character?
How has your character evolved since you made it?
What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them?
What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power?
If they don't use magic, why not?
Add any other fun info you can think off that would be interesting.

Why did you make your character?
Kaitan was simply the character that I created to use with my account in the Why my kind sir, I do believe I misunderstood you. Could you please repeat that statement, though in more simple terms? I am, alas, afflicted with a slow mind.C boards once I discovered Terisia.
How has your character evolved since you made it?
At first, Kaitan was just a generic white spellcaster from Benalia. Over time, I decided that he would be a vampire. I then added the black spells. He was blinded by Cat in the Kingdom of the Clouds. I also created the Order, which exists in several forums. He isn't the leader in all of them.
What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them?
Kaitan used to use a mana-focusing saber and a dueling knife. I created the saber early on and made the knife to match it. Kaitan was given the Soulsung longsword by Satorius in Terisia before the battle with Synar. Kaitan recently has begun to use that and his natural weapons (claws, fangs) instead of his old ceremonial weapons. He uses longswords because he was trained in their use, as he was the son of a lord and slated to become a knight.
What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power?
Kaitan is a sorcerer of moderate strength that uses, in Magic terms, white and black mana, with a sprinkling of green. In D&D terms, necromancy, conjuration, and evocation. He also possesses the spell-like abilities of shadowdancers and vampires, including shadow leap and the summonation of minions such as shadows. I gave him the white mana spells because he was a white character and duelist in Terisia, as well as hailing from the white city-state of Benalia. The black mana came with the vampirism. I decided to make him a shadowdancer rather abruptly and the addition of his new skills was very quick.
EXTRA QUESTIONS Only one of these can apply to other characters, and I'd be interested in the answer.
How did you decide upon your character's alignment? (I mean this both ways, how did you decide how your character would interact with others and how did you classify your character's personality under the D&D rules?)
Kaitan started out as a generic 'good' character in Terisia. I later classified him as NG. Later, when he lost more and more control over his instincts, he became CG. I later decided that Kaitan seemed to have three seperate alignments, the NG of the human Kaitan, the CE of the vampire Kaitan, and the CN of the 'overall' Kaitan. I keep the chaotic neutral in any character descriptions I write because it fits him best.
Why did I decide to allow Kaitan to become blinded?
There are a lot of reasons.
1) It was more realistic that way. Faith had blinded him temporarily and he was barely recovered when Cat did the same.
2) It is more interesting to RP with a blind character. It makes Kaitan more unique and different from the other vampire characters. Trust me, there are a lot of them.
3) It offsets his strength and keeps him from being overpowered.
4) It is a challenge to RP with a blind character if you aren't blind.

Why did you make your character?I made Rûn on a whim. I had been playing Cat for around two months at the time, didn't have any MuPs at the moment (yes, seems unbelievable now, eh? ) and I was getting a bit tired of playing all nice all the time. How has your character evolved since you made it?She started out as a character mainly for (my own) comic relief, but quickly got mixed up in storylines, so she became a character in her own right rather than something to torment people like Luren with whenever I felt like it. What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them?Rûn came to Terisia unarmed, looking for a sword. She bought (and tried to cheat a bit there) a longsword from LD, which was then a very ordinary sword. After a while, she bought a second one at the Smith's in the Clouds. The first sword was upgraded to sick stats by Graz'zt to convince her that he was the real thing. Because of the snake-like properties it gained, she called it Fang. After Graz'zt's fall, it turned back to normal. She then had both blades enchanted by people Twilight knew. Fang remained Fang, though not as powerful as once was, the other got a nice new pommel and became known as Tears. I use longswords because I like swords, and I'm having her fight with two swords because I think that's nice and cool and rather flashy. What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power? When she was a Proxy, Rûn gained spellcasting abilities. When she lost the Proxy-position due to her God's fall, she also lost the magic. If they don't use magic, why not? She's a fighter/rogue/Yuan-Ti, she has no real need of magic, she kicks butt without it. How did you decide upon your character's alignment? (I mean this both ways, how did you decide how your character would interact with others and how did you classify your character's personality under the D&D rules?)Her behaviour just came natural (see below), her alignment was the basic element from which I built her (see above). Add any other fun info you can think of that would be interesting.Rûn is my second character and definitely one of my favourites. She is great to blow off steam in a fun way. She is also definitely a part of me, in the way that Cat is too, while my other characters are really roles I play. I hope to have more of Cat's good heart than of the snake's twisted corrupted soul, but the kind of slightly detached, sarcastic thoughts Rûn has are the same sort that pop up in my little old head every once and a while.

Why did you make your character?I discovered the Castle of Fun at Wizards. Basically, that's the whole reason. How has your character evolved since you made it?I think she got rounded out in personality. At first, she was a pretty stubborn cleric who could match drinking with a barbarian, and had quite an interesting choice of curses. Now she is a stubborn cleric who can match drinking with a barbarian and has a very interesting choice of curses, having picked up more along the way Going through the stories with Synar and Graz'zt have made her somewhat more serious, more loyal to her friends. Nearly losing herself to the Void has caused her to ask for help instead of just supplying it for others. What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them? She has a Longsword, mostly because I like it, and thought it would suit her most. It started as a normal sword, with Holy damage. It got Soulsung by Mina (see the Rules for what that does) in order to help the fight against Synar. What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power? Divine Magic, and some Arcane, but she's still studying that in order to become more effective. Divine because she's a Cleric Arcane...well, it seemed right somehow to give her that. How did you decide upon your character's alignment? (I mean this both ways, how did you decide how your character would interact with others and how did you classify your character's personality under the D&D rules?)She's good, because at that time I didn't feel (or have much experience with) like playing an evil char. And with Tyr as your deity... And she's usually (always, really) willing to help others, without regards for her own interests. Add any other fun info you can think of that would be interesting.Jules is one of my most favourite chars, and a lot like me. Trivia: she's currently on her third hair-colour. She used to have black hair, which later turned to dark-purple, and after returning from her first time dying, it was pure white. It always glows softly, but more so when she uses her magic. Getting Raised the second time has added diamond-sparkles to it.

Why did you make your character?Xealaz started out as a character named Alex (hey, I was 6, give me a break) that ruled a group of intelligent dinosaurs, that I made to amuse myself when I was 6. (see below) How has your character evolved since you made it?As I said before Xealaz started out as Alex, a pretty ordinary human that had been flung back into the dinosaure age (I never was able to explain how)...which some twists. I was a huge dinosaur buff, and knew that not all dinosaurs lived in the same age, so I mixed them all together and called it the dinosaur age. I also know Velociraptors are not the way they are depicted, but for the life of me I have never been able to spell or pronouce Dionycthus, so I called them Velociraptors. Also, I made them as intelligent as humans. They followed Alex because they believed Alex to be some sort of God, mostly because he pretty much dropped out of the sky. He organized them into a mighty empire, showing them such things as firebuilding, building in general, and how to make weapons like bows and arrows. (I didn't give them opposable thumbs untill much later, when I realized that without them, they couldn't have done any of these.) Of course, him just leading them got boring. So, they needed an enemy. Who did I choose? T-Rex, of course. Well, smart T-Rex. I soon realized, however, that given equal intelligence, the Velociraptors didn't stand I chance. So, I gave them wings, and called the Velocians. Then, that became unfair as well, so to balance it further, I made the T-Rex's able to breath fire, and named them Tynnarians. Well, that was fun for a little, and somewhere along the line the Velocians gained a row of spines down their backs and opposable thumbs, while the Tynnarians gained front limbs actually worth something, and I shaved a few feet of their height, as well as streamlining them a bit. At one point, I got Alex (Xealaz) in a situation where there was no reasonable way he could live. So, he died. The RP in my head went on, with the Velocians murdeously angry over the death of their gods, and in their rage almost beating the Tynnarians untill they rallies around a particularly strong Tynnarian, aided by the betrayl of a high ranking Velocian General, who pushed them back...and as they say, the beat went on. Well, I eventually found I missed Alex. But how to bring him back? I decided to give both the Velocians and the Tynnarians magic. The Velocians ressurected him, where he took on the name Xela, which I claimed ment Mage in some wierd tounge, (It's really just alex in reverse) and gained some awesome magic abilitis...including the ability to create any creatues he wanted. (give me a break, I was about 8 by this point.) Well, soon the world was populated by a slew of creatures, from the eagle like Eaglians (Who became the Flaeni, and who I intend on bringing to Eluria) to the serpintine Cobrans (I replaced them with Yuan-Ti, since the idea was so similar) to the the lupine Wolfmen (now known as Lycian Elves) to literally hundreds of other creatures. (I have them all on file, quasi-organized, and could probably create a whole new MM from them.) After reading LotR when I was 9, I added in Elves and Dwarves and Dragons and such, and soon had a merry good world in my head, just waiting for the chance to burst forth. That chance came Freshman year of highschool, when I made some new friends and discovered Magic the Gathering...and the WizO boards. So, I went to create my account. I had read Chainer's Torment, and decided making Xela a dementist planeswalker would suit his creature creating ability. The problem is, it wouldn't let me register. Xela, Dementia Master - the email never came. Zela, Dementia Master - the email never came. Xale, Dementia Master - the email never came. I literally tried 12 variations on the name, including using Alex, before finally I got an email for Xealaz, Dementia Master. [I'll let everyone digest that for a while before I post the rest of this, and to give my poor aching hands a rest. (typed up 6 Outer Planes along with this today, will post them sometime after work, but has to go now.)]

Why did you make your character?
the beginnings of my character were very vague. i saw an RP forum, and wanted to join in, so i spat out a character. (LoD) eventually, i got tired of my flat little character, so i followed the current of some events to make a life-changing situation for my character. another boredom, another situation, and she became half-elf. a visit to the forest gave her wings.
How has your character evolved since you made it?
simple newbie black mage (LoD) became a half-fire elemental (Aurane) reverted, to the form from the newly created backstory, a half-elf, (Herindya Yaaralasse, but still uses Aurane, except around certain characters) woke up one day in a forest with wings.
What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them?
during her half-elemental days, her flesh became fire, and she could control it in interesting ways. i havent really found a weapon to have her stick with, but aurane's used a lot of swords, and martial arts-style weapons, due to my studies in kung fu.
What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power?
a little black, plenty of red, and now some green. it kind of came with the form as it went. black mage, well, obviously, fire elemental, yeah, elf, you get the point by now.
If they don't use magic, why not?
as of recent days, she doesnt use as much magic as she once did, partly because she doesnt know as muc green magic, and she's a little 'burned out' with her red magic.
How did you decide upon your character's alignment?
i dunno, it just happened, i'm not much of an evil kind of person, though i've been told i look it occasionally. LoD was my newbie attempt at touching into a little evil, black magic and all, but it didnt happen.
Add any other fun info you can think off that would be interesting.
this RP character goes through pets and gadgets like crazy. i keep thinking them up, then forgetting about them, then remembering, then forgetting.

Oh goody! Just be glad I don't do all my charecters...
Why did you make your character? A long time ago in a city far far away (probably 300 miles) I played the game Baldur's Gate. Now of course as anyone who has played that as well can guess my favorite charecter was a melencholy little elf Wizard named Xan.
A little over half a year ago I grew tired with my many MuPs and decided to make a new one. This one was, of course, Xan. Though not really that much alike to the Baldur's Gate Xan beyond the attitude...
How has your character evolved since you made it? Since I created my version of Xan I have changed him drasticly from Bioware's depiction of the little elf. The most noticeable change was of course that his skin color has changed from the fair elf white to the dark skin of his underdark foes. This came about through a series of skin treatments while he was trying to live in the underdark.
Though I tried to treat him as a more evil charecter Xan quickly developed into the loner good guy type. Poping in now and then to help the few friends he has, Xan has transfered his alignment from one of Neutral Evil to one of Chaotic Good.
Oh, and somewhere along the line he picked up the Elven Moonblade. Rather nice little thing if you ask me. ^_^
What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them? The Drow Hand Crossbow has always been a favorite weapon of mine. Covered in various poisons it can be a deadly weapon, or extremly non-leathal if coated in sleeping poison. Of course it's not exactly the same as a Drow Hand Crossbow, all Drow weaponry falls to peices in the sunlight, yet Xan's is made of regular material just copied off of the Drow design.
He also weilds a Moonblade for his elven house, and he carries a ceramonial dagger. This dagger was primarily used for the casting of some more evil magics learned in the Underdark.
What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power? Xan's most used spell's are Dimension Door, Darkness, and Levitate. Xan has few offensive spells as he has learned to work more behind the sceanes and from long range with support.

Why did you make your character? Oshii was born from my love of the Japanese Kaji (swordsmiths) and the general pre-modernised Japan. The reason why she is a girl should be pretty obvious. How has your character evolved since you made it? She hasn't yet, as I was rudely interrupted in playing her, but her recent journey has changed her slightly, to be manifested at a later time. What weapons does your character use, and why? How did you develop them? She uses her ancestral daisho (explained in detail in her bio) well the reason why is plain as day. The development was part of her training as a kaji, and various modifications came as she grew in talent/power. However she is not quick to use them, much less shed blood with them. What magic does your character use, if any, and why did you give them that power? None. If they don't use magic, why not? She is a traditional fighter/smith, and her focus is mental. Magic requires a lot of training, which would reduce her effectiveness in her job and fighting style. This however does not put her at an advantage, as her mental prowess is beyond that of any mere fighter, allowing her to dominate minds through just looking at them. The power in her stare comes from watching tigers before they pounce, when they are at there most terrifying and all their energy is concentrated on the prey, effectively paralyzing it. This is an effective way on reducing an enemy to shambles without even drawing her weapon. Her armour also aids in this endeavour, as it is fearsome and unerving, not because of the skill involved in making it, or the hideous face, but more to do with the sense that something is wrong with it, but nothing visibly is wrong with it. It's more of a mental feeling, that it doesn't quite belong in this existance. Add any other fun info you can think off that would be interesting. Read her bio.
