A swirling in the atmosphere and slowly it materialises from thin air. The house appears bhind the Academy, technically within the grounds, in the area reserved for the Principal's housing.
Yhe magics that moved it ensured that it was constructed of something more approriate to it's surroundings - dark oaken doors, sandstone walls, and the windows of glassteel - clear crystal harder than steel.
Despite these changes, the magics set on the original house still retain their potency - another perk of the Principal's office in this land. Subtle changes allow the members of the City Council an the senior staff f the Academy to enter the house - although even they cannot simply teleport into the house.
The house seems to have grown too, with more rooms to meet increased needs, particularly a conference room. On the upper floor there are extra bedrooms.

*she wakes up, feeling better than before. She gets out of bed, dresses and drags a comb through her hair, scowling at her image as usual. She finishes, pokes her tongue at the mirror, and goes downstairs for breakfast, not really taking in the changes to the house for now.*

(He arrives back at his house, newly transplanted. He enters, going up the stairs to his room, and prepares for bed.
He climbs into bed and rests, slipping quickly into trance.)

(He arose and went through the normal morning routine. Going down for breakfast he took his bowl of cereals and fruit into the dining room and ate steadily, considering the day.)

(Aldena woke and dressed carefully, planning her day. If Eirien was up and about she could go back and visit that library. She brushed her hair and went downstairs.
As she went she looked out of the window and blinked. They were not in the Kingdom. Where were they? What had happened?
She hurried downstairs to see what was going on. Ingani told her that Mellinore was at breakfast and she hurried through to find out what was happening.)

(He explained briefly the reason for leaving the Kingdom. Aldena was quite upset to hear about her great-nephew being kidnapped, and expressed relief that no-one had come to permanent harm.)

(He rose. Taking his crockery to the kitchen he eplained to Herriol and Ingani that the house, and all in it, had been moved here. They took the news calmly, assured that he could get them home if they wished to go.
He left and went to the Academy, to learn about the structures and traditions.)

(She rose and went into the kitchen. Poor Ingani was gradually working herself into a fluster over keeping the house supplied. WHere to go, who to see, the prices were sure to be horrendous...
ALdena calmed her down a little, and was about to suggest finding their way to the market when a knock came at the door. Answering it, Aldena was confronted with a man who introduced himself as the steward of the Academy, and asked whether he could assist them with supplies.
Aldena invited him in, slightly puzzled when a barrier of some kind presented entrance. The steward was unfazed, explaining that this was a regular occurence.
Aldena Ingani and the steward sat together in chairs in the back garden, discussing the needs of the house. Ingani was shocked to discover that her catering nees were so simply solved.
When the steward left, Aldena put on a cloak and went into the City.)

(He awoke and rose, refreshed himself and went into the kitchen for breakfast.
After breakfast he prayed to Corellon, and to Mystra briefly, seeking Her blessing on Merestil. Rising he meditated to renew his spellpower.
He finished and went to the Academy.)

(After dropping Julia at the Church, he had retired to his room and slept. Rising he went through his normal morning routine.
The encounter with Harthen had lef him somehow heartened. So he had not died...
He ate breakfast and went out to the Academy.)

(He came into the house and went to the study. Depositing the scroll there, he cast locking spells on each of the doors and windows.
Going upstairs he fetched down all his writing gear and so on, including his spellbook. He then went into the kitchen.)
"Ingani, can you prepare me enough sanwiches and other food to last a day, please? And drinks too. I will be in the study - which you will no longer be able to get into unless I let you."
(She looks puxxled at this but sets about the preparation which she says will take some time.
When it was ready she carried it into the study and left him there. Shutting the oor, he set about the long process of scribing the Mind Blank spell into his book.)

*The twins are lazy today and decide to spend their time in the back yard. Inni is lying on her belly in the grass, reading a book, while Elli sits on one of the branches of a tree with her back against the trunk, lazily playing a transverse flute. They seem almost innocent*

A small grey pigeon appears on the window sill of Mellinore's room, and ticks its beak against the window. Strapped carefully on its back between the wings is a rolled-up letter with a small green seal. The letter is cheap parchment, and the seal shows the Faentaure coat of arms. When opened, the letter appears to be written in a neat civil servant's hand:
LORD MELLINORE BRIGHTSHIELD
Faentaure, caer-odothui o Gwirith 1427 DR
My Lord,
May you and yours be in good health and fortune. I write to you not to intrude upon your business, but to kindly bring your attention to the property you hold in our city. I have been informed you have not visited our town at all in the last month or more, and though I realise you may well be occupied elsewhere, I fear I must point out to you we do not encourage the intentional abandonment of property. Our city, as you may know, is not a great one, and it can be hard on our young people to find a place of their own. In other words: we are short on housing, sir. Now the problem is not dire, but yet I need to ask this of you: do you intend to return to Faentaure to take up the property as your residence? If you do, please forgive my intrusion, and regard this letter as merely to inform you the kitchen may need cleaning considering the food left there. If you do not, however, please send me word or pay me a visit at your earliest convenience that I, or you yourself should you come here, may find a tenant or a buyer for the property, that it may not go to waste.
Hoping to hear from you soon and wishing you may be in Rillifane's favour forever, I remain your most humble servant,
Themin Ghuir
