(He rose and went through his morning routine. To it he now added the casting of the spell he had learned yesterday.
Over breakfast he read the letter from Themin Ghuir. More choice...
He stood up and went out to the Academy.)

(He re-entered the House. Eating a late supper he reread the letter.
Putting the question aside he went to bed and slept.)

*He knocks at the door of the house. An elderly elfwoman answers the door and asks hin what his business is.*
Message for Lord Mell-in-ore Brightshield ma'am. From the Keeper of All Souls.
*He holds out the document, which the elfwoman takes with a sniff. She disappears into the house with an injunction to wait.
She comes back with a sanwich and a glass of millk, and gives him five silver coins in addition.
He takes the coins and slips them into his pounch then sits and eats his food in the front garden.*

(He read the note in silence, thinking. The rest of the day passed as he pondered, and he thought.
Risig the next morning he went through his usual routine, and sought out Ingani.)
"I must spend a few days elsewhere Ingani. I will return for the nights however. Please make sure everything runs smoothly in my absence. Should anyone call please explain this.
If you need to contact me I will leave a message bearer spell in my room. Just speak a short message and say the release phrase and I will hear."
(He returned to his room and cast the spell, leaving a gently glowing blue globe.
Taking his travelling gear he left the house for the Academy.)

*The invitation to the wedding appears on Mellinore's bed, where he's sure to find it as he comes home every night. Another invitation, addressed to Aldena and her daughters, appears on the dinner table*

*The invitation to the wedding appears on Mellinore's bed, where he's sure to find it as he comes home every night. Another invitation, addressed to Aldena and her daughters, appears on the dinner table* (Aldena comes down to breakfast that moprning musing over her discussions in the Chantery, and looking forward to continuing her chats with Dorlan.)"Milady Aldena, a letter for you." "Thank you Ingani."
(She takes and reads the letter.)
"Ingani, I am going to need a new dress. My niece is getting married.""I'm afraid I dont know where to go, ma'am." "Well, I will ask around and find somewhere for myself."
(She eats breakfast, gets up and hurries out of the door, leaving the letter behind, thinking about the possible colour choices for a dress. She decides to ask Dorlan about shops.)

(He returned to the house late that evening.
He had cleaned the kitchen; not that difficult a task all in all.
He had seen Themin Ghuir about letting the house, and Themin was reviewing possibilities for tenants.
He had cleared the house of everything bar the bulky furnihsings, and stored the items in two rooms in his newly-expanded house for Cat to review.
Reading Cat's note he grinned broadly. Well well...
He sat and thought for a while before resting for the night.
Risung the following morning he went through his normal morning routine, then left to visit the market.)

*She arrives in the house. Ingani immediately starts fussing over Tirith, feeding him milk and cookies, as many as he wants. She goes about her business there, talking to the twins about the ceremony. While they didn't really know each other well before, the cousins soon become good friends. They spend the rest of the day in good cheer. After a while, Cat puts Tirith to bed. The boy is rather excited, but he falls asleep in the end. Cat stays up a bit longer, singing songs with Elli and playing games involving many sleights of hand with Inni. But around midnight, all three of the girls get tired and turn in. Cat stays awake for a long time, staring at the ceiling*

*He wakes up and yawns. Something was going to happen today. What was it again? He looks around and wonders where he is for a moment. This isn't his room. Oh, wait! This is grandpa's home! Today is the great party for Adar and Nana. He gets up to find his mother sitting up in her own bed, legs pulled up, looking at him with a smile*
Hi Nana.
*She smiles at him and they get breakfast, after which she helps him get dressed in his good clothes. He watches as the cousins come in, both already dressed in their bridesmaids' dresses, and help (or hinder) his mother get dressed*

*She looks at herself in the mirror, and swallows away something in her throat as she realises she's pretty much the spitting image of her mother on the picture she gave to Mellinore a while ago: a very light green dress with a dark green belt and long sleeves, a moss coloured cape, a Bridal Rose in her hair. She mentally uncurls her hair and shrinks the ears, and watches Ellisande in the mirror for a while*

(He came down from his room dressed in green robes. Finding the kitchen in an uproar, he snagged bread, butter and honey and retired to the study. He ate and drank, then went out to try and organise his thoughts.)

*She smiles and shrugs it off. Singing softly, she hangs the holy symbol of Rillifane around her neck, and clasps Corellon's on her belt. A small shooting star token goes in her pocket, which makes Inni giggle. There, all set. She takes Tirith's hand and they go downstairs, sit down on the couch, and the three girls start chatting again, all three slightly nervous. Tirith, on his mother's lap, watches Inni and Elli and listens closely, making a smart remark every once and a while*

(The gate opens in front of the house and the family came pouring out. Lucius was followed by his wife, then two clearly relaed elfwomen - one with golden hair leading a darker-haired woman in mourning. These were followed by five younger elves, one of whom was also dressed in mourning..
Lucius led the way up to the house and knocked. The door was opened by Aldena, ans Ingani and Herriol were busy.
Soon the house was full of the sound of people talking as the women admired the bridal dress.)

(He returned to the house just as the party entered and spent a few minutes talking to the new arrivals, consoling Elwing on her losses. He gave directions to the park and the people started filing out to go to the ceremony.)

*They get up as the family enters, and are soon introduced to Lucius' wife Morwen, to Indis and her two daughters Elentári and Gilgalad, to Elwing, Elwing's husband Vlastor, daughters Alistra (with husband) and Rhovan, and son Istrohir. They are soon confused as to the who's who, and some are a bit sad, but the atmosphere is cheerful overall, and gets better as they all get to know each other better. Tirith is generally admired, though there are a few questioning looks at the wings*
