The City-State of Faentaure lies deep in the white woods of Entarion, a rather small and out-of-the-way world ravaged by wars and mistrust. Two Human empires on either side of the giant woods have been warring since as long as the Elves can remember, but they usually don't fight in the woods. Not too far south of the city is an entrance to the Underdark, leading to a Drow outpost and on to the city of Dar'Forek, not a pleasant place. Faentaure is thus plagued by Humans and Drow alike and has closed its borders to all, keeping themselves to themselves like most of the other communities in this world. Regular Elves get let into the city only if they obey the strictest rules, and even then are regarded as dangerous strangers. Other races don't stand much of a chance to even get close to town... These people shoot first and ask questions later. They have warded their city against Teleportation spells so as to redirect those to a closely guarded glade some half hour from the actual town.
