*She arises after roughly 8 hours worth of trance and spends the rest of the time until sunrise studying a few spells. She then consumes a few glasses of blood, bathes and goes downstairs to find the Inkeep or that young girl again.*

Several hours after she began studying, day's harsh light filters in through the window. It seemed almost abnormally bright, the light a bit stronger than on most worlds. It was likely hot outside as well, but it was hard to tell from within her room.
Both innkeep and girl are downstairs, looking as bright and ready for the day as they were when she last saw them. There were already some patrons up and about, but not very many, less than even yesterday.

*Angel signals for the girl to approach, then hands her 11 gold pieces.*
I'll keep the room for a week, and would rather not be disturbed. I have a rather delicate stomach so food is not necessary, I have brought enough of my own from my homeland.
*She turns to walk out of the door, then remembers a question she wanted to ask last night.*
Who are the people in robes with the black claw insignia?

The girl does as commanded and nods, not surprised by the amount of gold that suddenly came under her possession.
She seemed deeply surprised by the question, however.
"I thought everyone knew them. They're of the Order. The Order of the Obsidian Hand."

The Obsidian Hand? I was in a coma since I was a little girl, and recently woke up. I haven't travelled very far or heard many things about this world yet. That is why I am travelling now, to learn about this world we call home.
*Briefly wondering if she should charm the girl, Angel decides to just try and put her at ease. Again she wishes she had spent a little time in her library researching this cursed plane.*

"Most just call it Hell. Others are too used to it for it to really matter."
The girl smiles brightly.
"Thankfully, our lives haven't been too touched by anything. It's not like there is misery everywhere. Just for those who ask too many questions about the wrong people. Good day, ma'am."
The girl turns and deals with the other patrons.

*She turns abruptly away when the girl leaves and smirks to herself. Perhaps the only way to get some info would be to talk to one of that order. She leaves the Inn to explore the city, keeping an eye out for one of the robed beings.*

The city seems rather packed today, with a number of people running to and fro for whatever reason. Sometimes errands, sometimes shopping, some just travelers passing through.
She doesn't see anyone wearing the robes and insignia of the Order, however.

*She heads for the marketplace, stopping to ask directions if needed and making sure her hood is drawn well around her face. Any alchemical or magic stores she sees she will go into, just to peruse, and maybe find some information.*

The market place is obviously one of the busiest parts of town, with people swarming all over the place. There seem to be a good number of alchemical stores, and a few stores cater to those of magic training.
The first one she comes across is called the Morning Mist, and there appear to be very few patrons at the moment, each one traveler or another restocking for whatever trip that lies ahead. One or two wear robes and insignia, but none wear the black hand.

*She approaches one of the male robed individuals, trying to seem lost in the store. Batting her eyes and eyeing him flirtatiously she asks him a question.*
Excuse me, but I am looking for a phoenix feather, and I don't know what one looks like. I'd hate to return to my master empty handed, do you think you could help me?
*Waiting for an answer, she surveys him and his robes for magical runes stiched in, or any items that lesser mages than herself might use.*

The man has a few runes, but she only gets a quick glance when he looks up and sees exactly what kind of person is flirting with him. Soon after, he is down on the floor, completely catatonic.
A female clerk blinks and makes her way over.
"George? You ok?"

*She blinks twice at the catatonic man, then stifles a laugh as she props him up against a counter or shelf. Looking for some smelling salts or something she casually asks the female clerk a few questions.*
Does George do this often? Will he be alright?
.oO(I could restore him easily with a spell, but there is no telling what sort of people are watching and now is not the time to run into a battle mage or two.)

The clerk reaches for a bottle in the store, grumbling about something under her breathe. Not with words, just mutters really.
Apparently, the smelling salts is what she reached for.
"George? Well, I'd say this is a first. He's always been a little shy. Was there something I could help you with, ma'am?"
The woman sets the bottle under George's nose. He sputters and blinks a few times.
"What happened...?"

Yes actually, I am looking for a phoenix feather, but I don't know what one looks like. I asked George here, but he fainted.
*She tries to remember what it felt like to be lost in a magic shop, and duplicate the effect for these two. And also, somehow she needs to steer the conversation towards the obsidian claw emblem.*
I've never seen a magic shop before, it's amazing. Are there a lot of mages here? There aren't many where I come from, I had to travel just to find one to teach me.
