Sirrico grins, easily shaking off the energies. He had his own defenses, after all.
He slashed again, this time sending pure arcane energy into the and through the blade, aiding both accuaracy and force behind the blow and slashing time and again at the creature before him, as he dodges out of the way of the other creature. He laughs, clearly enjoying himself, and makes a quick gesture with his gauntlet. The area suddenly becomes bitingly cold as black tendrils rise from the shadowed earth and try to wrap around his foes, binding them and freezing them.

*The creature infront of him is rapidly dying from the wounds, but it still manages to lash out with its tendrils, hoping to find some purchase on Sirrico, trying to strike him.*
The creature that used its tendrils against Sirrico was too occupied to escape the black tendrils that attack it, nor did one of the other creatures. The cold doesn't seem to bother them, but the crushing of the tendrils does, and they begin to struggle and howl. The remaining creatures are able to leap away from the tendrils, but these ones simply attempt to flee - obviously discouraged by their would be prey's strenght.*

The tendril manages to catch Sirrico, cutting into his midsection with the barb. It was one of those off chance moments where he was more real than shadow.
He growled and slashed at the tendril as he forcefully pulled the barbs out with his gauntlet, wrapping his hand around the tendril and tearing it away with an amazing show of strength as the katana came down on it.
His murderous eyes track the movements of the others. He very clearly intends to follow them when he is done here.

*The barbs, upon entering his skin, unleash a potent toxin that will induce paralysis if he is unable to fight it. The creature he was fighting is unable to keep it up any more, and falls over dead...seconds before it explodes, showering the air around it a green acidic gas.
The fleeing creatures continue to run away from the Citadel and from Sirrico as fast as they can, which is at a considerable speed. Those caught in the tendrils continue to fight them, but seem unable to break free at the moment.

Sirrico stands still, ignoring the searing acid as it touches his flesh, and literally wills the toxin to cease with a great deal of effort. He smiles, stepping away from the body and raising his clawed gauntlet towards the others. His wounds begin to heal rapidly as energy gathers at the tips of the claws, gathering into a small ball.
The ball suddenly fires off at one of the creatures as a ray, the energies deepest black.

*The creatures spread out, leaving the one alone to be struck by the attack. They do not slow down, instead running. Ahead, they will jump down into a hole in a ground that has the distinct feeling of a den of some sort.*

Sirrico doesn't even seem to notice them anymore. His crazed eyes are focused on the creature held down by the tentacles, blasting it again, and again, and again, over and over. Even after it explodes and sends its own acids around the area, Sirrico is still there, blasting what remains of the corpse. When there is so little left that there is no possible way to salvage anything even remotely useful from the creature, Sirrico stops, lowering his hand.
A smile slowly creeps across his face, and then he begins to laugh and scream with joy at his truimph, much like an animal roars, or howls.
When finished, he shakes his head and sheathes his blade.
You'll have to do better than that, maggots.
He turns and continues walking.

*His path is, for now, not impeded at all. A few creatures the size of crows, but looking like hideous crosses between flys and numerous other insects, flit around, watching him.*

Sirrico stops and watches while scraping two of the metal claws together. He smiles and raises his gauntlet covered hand. He quickly fires off an Eldritch Blast at one of the creatures and laughs, shaking his head and walking on.

*The creature is struck by the blast and simply dies. The other creatures flit away from it momentarly, then resume watching him.*

Sirrico walks on, wandering through the Plane of shadows for hours. By the time he was ready to leave, the citadel was far out of sight. He wondered idly if he would ever see it or the creatures that were with it ever again... the Planes were vast, after all.
(Doesn't matter.) (If we meet again, we kill again)
Unless the binding decides otherwise.
(Yes...) (Blasted binding, those who made it should burn) (Freeze!) (...die...)
Hmph. It didn't matter at this point. He couldn't do anything about it.
(...but if another did it for him, somehow?)
That would be a different story. Of course, he was already confused by some of the things he had heard and seen.
(Hard to decide now... what will you do?)
...we'll see when it happens.
He steps off of the Plane of Shadows.
