*He smiles*
As simple as my kind goes, my lord.
*Nods*
I heard you had a few people of interest in town. That would be all I know though. Anything I should know? Or perhaps even assist in....

That all depends. Do the names Catriona, Satorius, Aurane, Kaitan, and Elfhame mean anything to you?

*He smiles*
You're asking me whether the name of the Black Heart means anything to me. I would be a poor specimen of my species indeed if it didn't. Yes, I know the names.

*He grins, pleased.*
Good. They are the ones I seek. The Black Heart is not truely one of my targets, but his attachment to Catriona means he must be a factor. If I must kill them, I must, but I would much rather prefer to bring them back into the fold.

He looks at Xealaz with his reflective eyes.
I see.

*Xealaz pauses for a moment, as if organizing his thoughts.*
How easily could you capture one of them, and bring him or her to me?

He raises one eyebrow ever so slightly.
Not at all. I am very sorry to disappoint, but you know I don't usually do the muscle work. Information, planning and goods, yes. But I am into business, not war. And these are powerful people, with powerful friends.

*Xealaz nods.*
I expected as much. Still, no harm in asking.
*He frowns for a second, a frown that quickly leaves his face as a horrid bellow, one of a massive creature in complete agony, echos through the Citadel.*
I was wondering what was taking Vivia. She must have gotten distracted....but I digress.
*He gives Rumerin a quick look.*
I would pay well for everything you could tell me about the Council of Eluria. The drow did a woefully poor job of gathering information on them, and my other sources have been incomplete at best.

*He smiles slightly at the bellow.*
Like father, like daughter.
I see. There are things I don't even know about them, of course. But I probably know more than you've heard so far. Very well. I will get you the files as soon as possible, enchanted as usual...
*He thinks a moment.*
Did you have any plans of taking your guild back by the way, if I may be so bold?

I look foward to seeing them. *Xealaz looks thoughtful.* Really, the guild is no longer of any use to me. I do believe I will just have to play that one by ear - most likely, this mysterious figure will be defeated, and I will be able to regain the guild, or he is strong enough to win, in which case fighting to regain the guild would be rather expensive and, since it lacks use, pointless.

*He gives him a reflective look, then nods*
I see. So if you're giving up the guild, I hope you won't mind if I take some of the now-available resources. There is some talent there that I just might be interested in.

*Xealaz nods, after a moments thought.*
Yes, you may. I have others to replace them, and only the drow knows who I am. Please, feel free to take what you will.

*Nods*
Thank you, m'lord.
Is there anything else I can do for you, or would you rather I stopped taking your time? Sounds like your lovely daughter is about finished anyway, so perhaps you'd rather I left.

*Xealaz smiles.*
I do suppose our buisness is done, for now. Do stay in touch, Rumerin. I hate it when contacts become strangers.
Oh, and one more thing. Tell Barath'Daubre that if I ever see him again, I will flay him alive for loosing the Guild, then forcibly bring him back to life and repeat the process daily for the next century before giving him back to you.

Of course. And you know where to find me, my lord. My old business is still running. I simply expanded a bit since we last met.
*He gets up and bows*
I'll make sure he gets the message. Farewell, my lord. Please, do give my regards to your charming daughter.
*He leaves when he is sure Xealaz expects him to (that is, after Xealaz responds if he wants to).*
