This manor is old but still in serviceable condition. It has been vacant for quite a while. Ivy grows rampant over the walls and reaches the top of the largest tower, a stone turret topped by a glass observatory. The grounds are mildly overgrown, but still rather beautiful.
Toris bought this house for a modest sum from a family of rich landlords. He paid them quite a bit extra to keep quiet about the sale. He hasn't changed the appearance of the manor at all. His neighbors probably don't even notice that he has moved in, and that is just what Toris intended.

Toris wanders through the halls of the manor. He stops in front of the red wooden door to the library. He pushes the door open. It creaks very softly. Toris steps in and walks around, a faint smile on his face. He pauses several times, but only actually pulls a book out of its shelf once. He takes the book, a dust-covered tome with a faded red cover, to one of the large leather chairs and sits down. He begins to read, even though the words are in a strange language.

Toris walks out of his home. He heads for the streets, waiting until no one is looking before leaving the grounds of his estate.

She walks in and looks around.
Er... very pretty...

Toris replies absently.
"Thanks..."
He turns to Charith.
"I'm Toris, by the way."

She holds out her hand.
I'm- Charith Ginesh.

Toris shakes her hand, rather gently to keep it from rocketing through a window or something. Mysterious things seem to happen around Charith, usually resulting in something breaking. Hopefully something that can't break back.
"Pleased to meet you."

She smiles shyly.
Er- hm- likewise.

Toris smiles.
"Let's go to the library, alright?"
He leads her to the library. He pulls out his longbow and fires an arrow into the fireplace, still walking. The arrow leaves a faint yellow trail. When it hits the timber in the fireplace, a fire roars into life. Toris shrugs.
"It's faster than using flint."

She blinks.
...
Looks around.
Wow... Lots of books...

Toris nods.
"The library came with some, and I keep my own collection. They're not all in common or elvish, though, so I had to learn some other languages."

Toris turns around and faces Charith.
"I'm sorry...would you like to take a seat?"
He gestures toward some chairs and tables in the corner, near the fire.
"And call me Toris, please."

Uhm- oh, yes, thanks.
She sits down gingerly.
Er, okay...

Toris mounts his bladed longbow on a rack on the wall, near the chairs. He also takes his two-ended knives out of their hidden sheathes and places them in special holders, also mounted on the wall. He apparently spends a lot of time in this room.
He turns to Charith.
"Would you like a drink or something?"
