(Waiting waiting ever waiting... is there a point?) (Is there ever?) (Of course there is. After all, there is so much to learn... we still don't know.) (Maybe we could use the Eye...)
No... that is for emergencies. Besides, where's the fun in using that when you can feel someone die under your blade?
(Yes...) (True...) (What's the point when you can't even carry through?)
Sirrico growls. The damned device in the back of his neck always restrained him, always kept him back. He wanted to get rid of the damned thing. It was a troublesome pest...
(Last time you tried to dig it out...)
Don't remind me.
(...yes, no need to remember that...) (They try to kill us, they try to rid us from) (Speak of redemption and seek only damnation) (Justify their actions, yet, when brought up on it, they only) (Claim they are already damned and that it doesn't matter)
Ah, but it does. The fools wish to climb out of their self-made Hell, then they need to build for themselves a path to Heaven first. Sirrico smiles. They wouldn't understand that, though. None of them would. It's all so simple, and yet they are blinded by their desperate need for their corrupt empire to accept them back into their fold. Heh, how pathetic.
...those worms wanted to drag Sirrico to this Heaven with them, too, while they only paved a further path to Hell. Hmph. He wasn't interested in it. He just wanted to live and be left alone... (No, not alone! Never alone!) ...never alone, but not with those fools.
Sirrico stood and glanced out of the small window in the building.
