*Sadron eats his candyfloss with every sign of enjoyment. As he finishes he feels a spot of rain hit his head. Looking up he realises that the time was later than he had realised. His parents would be expecting him home soon.*
Its been nice here, but I think I'd better move before it starts raining. 'Mais naturellement, mon ami. Where to?'

*Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Ah well. He takes the new daggers and gauges the target. He lets one dagger loose... and it hits, right in the bullseye. Izlude grins at the guy... and then the other fellow gets the another target moving, this one smaller. Izlude raises an eyebrow and sighs. Great, an all or nothing game.*

*She smiles and leans on the stall*
Nice shot.

*Izlude raises the next dagger and watches the target.*
Thanks.
*He gauges the target again, trying to phase everything else out while, at the same time, still noticing it. He lets the dagger fly, and it just catches the out ring. Izlude frowns... that was a hard one.
The next target is swung out. This one is only the size of the bullseye and the small ring around that. Izlude sighs and starts gauging the target again.*

You're welcome.
*She smiles and watches. The stall owner does not seem to be too pleased.*

*Izlude watches the target swing back and forth... back and forth... he takes in a deep breathe. He holds the breathe for a moment, watching the target... and releases the dagger as he releases the breathe.
The blade strikes the dead center of the target.*

*The stall holder grumbles. Nerkori claps her hands.*
Wooo! Very good! Great!

*Izlude grins ear to ear, happy with the results. He didn't have a terribly high chance of hitting that last one... he turns to the stall holder, still grinning.*
So, what're the prize choices?

'Mais naturellement, mon ami. Where to?' I dunno. There's no play or anything, and Nana'll skin me if I get too wet. So guess I'd better be going home.

*The stall keep sighs, glances at the boy, then puts a few items on the table- a used-looking quill, a small teddy bear with a faded pink ribbon around its neck, and a tiny cardboard box with red and blue make up for children, a bit dried out at that. Nerkori frowns.*

*Cheating son of a... Izlude's eyes narrow dangerously at the man.*
Show us the real prizes. Now.

*The man grumbles, but is quick to obey. With one sweep, the things go down the counter again, and he gives a new selection. A small yellowish ivory statue of a knight, hands together (as though in prayer) holding his sword blade-down, round helmet, highly stylized face and armour. A fine dagger with a silvery blade and a black hilt. Not the most practical, maybe, and not too expensive, but certainly decorative. A tambourine consisting of white animal skin, a rosewood circle, silver bells. A leather string necklace with multi-coloured beads, a round flat pendant with a dragon in relief, and off-centre a white and brown feather. A small leather-bound booklet with Elurian folk-songs and a few colourful plates depicting the topics- may dances, or the Spire, or skating on the river, things like that. And lastly, a small pocket watch with a chain.
Nerkori looks up as more rain begins to fall- drip... drip... dripdrip...*
