*Izlude smiles. Much better. He looks through the prizes and goes down a mental list:
The statue is too much of a pain in the ass to carry around all day everyday.
The dagger was completely out of the question. Style in sacrifice of functionality, not even worth considering.
The book... was too structured for his taste. He'll sing what he wishes when he wishes, with no need for that.
Sand gets in watches, and time doesn't matter in the desert. You just don't travel when it's hot.
The tambourine and necklace were the only two things left to consider... he liked the tambourine, a lot... but he wanted a flute. Call it defiance. He never liked not being able to play the flute in the desert. Besides, he liked the dragon on the pendant.
He took the pendant.*
Thanks.
*He only just notices the water... a drop had landed on his head and he frowned. He looked up and blinked. This wasn't something he was used to. Rain!*

*The stallkeep grumbles, nods, quickly assembles his wares and closes up the shop. Nerkori smiles.*
Well done. Want to stay here and get a shower or shall we go inside somewhere?

*It takes Izlude some time to notice she said something. He was too enraptured by the rain, by the feel of so much water just pouring carelessly from the clouds above and onto the creatures that dwelt upon the surface... a forgiving and kind rain. It wasn't a jealous rain, one that kept all the waters of the skies to itself with but an occasional light rain from what was mostly a thunderstorm. It was a gift, and not a miracle. Here, it was more common than almost anywhere on the world he came from. Unless you counted the unnatural rain that made up the "waters" of the Hydra rivers back home.
Izlude blinked and looked back at Nerkori, finally noticing she said something. He puts the necklace over his neck as he speaks.*
Oh, sorry... uh, I guess we should look for some shelter of some kind. Got a place in mind?

Well, if you want to stay here and enjoy the bath, all fine with me.
*Winks*
But there's plenty of places right here...
*She gives a very quick summary of the indoors places again. Total downpour seems to be mere minutes away.*

*Izlude smiles and looks up. Yes...*
...I'd prefer to stay in this for now, if you don't mind. Just for a little while. Afterwards, we can go wherever. I don't really care where.

Sure thing!
*She smiles and conjures up an a small stick with cloth from some pocket. She pulls it out and the cloth forms a screen over her head. She grins.*

*Izlude glances at her and laughs. Well, that's handy.
He stands out in the rain, getting very thoroughly drenched. He smiles the whole time, perfectly happy with it. After quite some time, he grins.*
Ok, now we can go.

*She smiles at him in the downpour, keeping perfectly dry herself.* Okay, just tell me where you want to go. I already gave you a summary of the section, but if you're already bored with it, we could go somewhere else. Could get you dried up somewhere, if you feel like it.

Alright...
*Grins*
Then I know just the place for you.
*She starts leading Izlude towards the City Centre, taking the long route.*
