The residence of the Eng'windens (Thranor and Eowung) is a moderate sized building by the standards of this place. He does not need too much space for workshops or labs. Just a scriptorium and a library.
Eowung has a fairly large beauty parlour. She advises women - and men too - how to get the best out of their appearance, look as good as possible. Just incidentally, the place can be used as a banqueting hall, and weddings with receptions to follow are common here.
The family live quietly on the upper floor.

Sadron comes scampering into the building, running up the stairs and bursting into the living area.
"Nana, guess what! We had a Unicorn come by school today! A real one! It talks Celestial. It told us a long tale about going off into the desert to rescue this beautiful warrior lady so she could lead the battle against the evil ones! And..."
Oh Sadron, did you really see a unicorn today? What colour was it?"
This question seems to nonplus the boy. Colour?
"I... dont remember."
She chuckles. "Ah, Sadron..."
"I dont remeber the colour. But we did, we really did."

Sadron is off to school again today. As he walks he thinks about the unicorn. Suddenly he giggles. Nana would have had a fit if he'd told her about the lady's tail. He'd have been lucky to escape a month's grounding. As it was... it was so unfair that she still didn;t believe him. They'd all seen it.
Sadron walks round an alchemists shop and sets off towards the city centre. School had been fun this last week or two.

*Sadron stops outside the building that houses his parents business endeavours. and looks up. The rain is beginning to fall quite heavily now, and he grimaces.*
Better get indoors quick.
*He runs up to the doorway, fumbles for his latch key and pushes the door open.*

She hurries inside after Sadron, just in time as the rain becomes heavier.

*Sadron looks around. He turns and whispers to Ameena.*
Nana is still busy with people, so let's just go upstairs.
*He ascends the stairs, moving carefully so as not to make too much noise, and goes into a room, beckoning Ameena to follow.

She shakes some of the water out of her hair, redoing her ponytail and follows Sadron up the stairs, carefully not to make much noise.

The stairs lead on to a largish landing, furnished with a small table and two or three chairs. There are seven doors off this landing arranged in a semicircle, the doors normally standing closed.
By the time Ameena reaches the top of the stairs, Sadron has disappeared into his room, the door on the right standing slightly ajar. He pops out and hands Ameena a towel, indicating that she can use his room to dry off if she wishes.
He goes into another room to dry his hair.*

'Merci.'
She takes the towel, dries off and wraps it around her hair. She doesn't walk into Sadron's room, just stands to the side of the landing, looking inside the room.

The room is the family's living/dining room. Comfortably furnished with low chairs groupd near to a fire, another area is set with a dining table and chairs.
The room shows evidence of wealth, and some care in selecting the items.
*Sadron is standig in th room vigourously towelling off his hair, looking towards the door. He jumps when a voice speaks from further in the room.*
Hello my son. Best go change those clothes if I were you. Don't want you getting sick and missing school.
*The speaker is an elf, whos pale skin and slightly vague eyes indicate that he is a scholar; one who sits indoors most days reading books. Around his neck a pendant hangs. He is wearing neatly cut clothes in soft colours.
Hello Adar.
Alright.
*He moves towards the door, flushing a bit, and looking more than a little guilty about something.*

She hesitates, unwrapping the towel and combing through her hair with her fingers. Her tail swooshes. She didn't want to get the boy into trouble, but trying to hide in his parents' house doesn't work either. She sighs, takes a deep breath, and walks into the room, standing just inside the door.
'Bonjour monsieur.'

[Celestial]Bonjour Madame.[/]
*The man stands and turns towards Ameena, taking in her appearance and manner.*
What brings you to our humble abode?
Adar, this is Ameena bin Qiyamah. She came to the school the other day, with her unicorn companion.
Excuse me.
*He hurries out, tugging at his damp shirt.*
Again, welcome. How then may I serve you? Do you require knowledge? Or perhaps dry clothing?

'Merci, but not necessary, monsieur.'
She bows.
'I am, like Sadron said, Ameena bin Qiyamah. I kept him company today until it started to rain, and he had to return home.'

*He frowns slightly, then shakes his head.*
Indeed? Well thank you. You have done us a serviice, and will not find us ungratefll. Please call on me if you need a question answered, and I will answer you as best I can.
But I am being rude. My name is Thranor Eng'winden. I am pleased to meet you.
*He walks towards her smiling, hand outstretched.*
May I offer you food or drink? Would you perhaps like to stay for dinner?

'Merci monsieur Eng'winden.'
She shakes his hand.
'Pleased to meet you.
If it's not too much of a problem, I don't want to impose.'
