Please feel free to stay. We can cope. And the weather outside is not the best right now.
*He smiled.*
I will just go and give the orders.
*He walked out of the room and into another, returning a short while later.*
There. Would you like a drink?

She wandered further into the room while he'd gone out, and was standing near the fireplace. Drink sounds good.
'Merci, monsieur.'

I'm afraid we do not keep much, but we have some whisky.
*He crosses to a cabinet and opens it to reveal two bottles containing dark brown liquids. Selecing one he pours two small glasses and hands her one.*
Cheers.

'Merci.'
She takes the glass, and sips it, reminding herself not to drink too fast.

*Sadron comes into the lounge, having dried his hair and changed out of school uniform. He sits in a chair and starts reading a book.
*Thranor smiled. He seemed ready to ask a question, but when Sadron walked in he changed his mind and shook his head.*
Please Ameena, take a seat.

She smiles at Sadron as he walks in, and sits down.
'Merci, monsieur.'
She sips more of the whiskey. Good stuff. Her tail culrs around her leg, and she glances at Thranor, wondering what he'd wanted to say before his son entered.

Two smartly uniformed humans enter the room and lay an additional place at the table.
*Thranor looks at what his son is reading and raises an eyebrow.*
Tell me Ameena, how long have you been in the city?

'About a month, monsieur. It seems like a nice place to live.'
She smiles, and looks over at Sadron, trying to catch what book he's reading.

*Sadron has his nose in "Tales of the Lonely Warrior", a collection of stories about people who took solo stands against great issues.*
*At this point a well-turned out woman steps into the room.*
Thranor, we have -
Oh. Good day Ma'am. And how may we help you?

She laughs a bit at Sadron's choice of books. It did explain his fascination with Icarus' story.
Putting her glass to the side, she gets out of her chair as the woman walks in and bows.
'Bonjour madame. I am Ameena bin Qiyamah. I kept mon ami Sadron company this day, until we got caught by the rain.'

Well, welcome to the House of Beauty and Knowledge, Ameena. I am Eowung.
Thank you for keeping my son company today.
*She looks around and sees that thre are four places at table.* Ah, I see you are staying to dinner.
*She smiles slightly.* Dinner will be in about 30 minutes.
*Sadron looks up from his book.*
Nana? When the unicorn came to the Academy the other day? He came with Ameena. She rode him up to the gates.

'Oui madame, monsieur Eng'winden kindly invited me to stay.'
She sits back down, smiling at the mention of Icarus.
'He liked his visit to the academy, mon ami Sadron.'

*Eowong looked from Ameena to Sadron and back, blinkng. Slight surprise appears on her face for a second or wo before it disappears.*
Good. Well, I must ensure that dinner is being properly prepared if we have an unexpected guest. Please excuse me.
*She smiles to everyone, turns and leaves.*
Did he? Cool. Will he be coming again? When? Is it true that -
Sadron... curiosity is good but it must be disciplined. One question at a time please.
Yes adar.
*There is a resigned tone in his voice - as if he has heard this many times before.*

She smiles back as Eowung leaves the room.
'Je ne sais pas, mon ami. Maybe. If he can fit in a classroom, but he doesn't do well inside buildings.
Is it true that what, mon ami?'

Oh. Well, it would be nice.
Someone at school said you were a Paadin. Is that true?
