*Time passes and the businesses proceed.*
*Thranor immerses himself in study, burrowing deeper into his specialisations.*
*Eowung's business prospers. Her salon's specialism of magical beauty products ensure a wrinkle-free appearance for the discerning (and rich) customer.
*Sadron seems to have taken the lesson of suspension to heart and ensures he does not get late to the school. His studies continue to suffer a little, however, as he is unable to concentrate on the more structured side of the curriculum.*

*Amar steps into a small reception area, where a young elven woman sits reading a paper.*
*The reception area has wood-panelled walls, with several paintings showing people of several races who (discreet plaques claim) have visited the salon for treatments, in after-the-work poses.*
*The salon itself can be seen through glass panelsled walls. It appears quite busy at the moment, with several people in the process of receiving treatments.*
*The receptionist looks up as Amar enters, puts down her paper and smiles.* Can we help you ma'am?

She smiles at the woman.
Goodday. I was told you also do weddings here.

Weddings? Yes ma'am. We do.
*She pulls out a paper from her desk and passes it over to Amar.*
Have a seat, and read this. It explains what we can do for you.
*K&B can handle weddings with up to 100 people attending the service. The service can be conducted by an in-house priest, or by a cleric of the couple's selection, or be a simple civil ceremony.*
*Receptions (if wished) for up to 60 people can be arranged. K&B have arrangements with several catering firms (details on request) or the couple's own choice of caterer can be accommodated.*
(There is a footnote to teh effect that caterers on K&B's banned list will not be acceptable, and they reserve the right to decline to allow priests of certain faiths to officiate.)

Thank you.
She takes the paper and sits down, reading it through carefully. Caterer, she hadn't even thought about food. She looks for a price-index.

*Prices for the rent of the hall run at approximately 400 jink per hour, generally, If the wedding is held on the last day of the week, the hall hire is 200 jink per hour.*
*Prices for actually performing the service are 200 jink, or 100 jink if a civil ceremlony only is required.*
*Prices for catering a reception are on request but vary with number and the scale of preparation required.*

She blinks at the prices. Ah well, she'll have to talk it over with Mecrinus.
How much if we provide the priest to officiate?

*The receptionist looks up.*
If you already have a priest to officiate then the only charges are for the hall hire and whatever catering services you buy.
She smiles.* Do you know when you want the wedding?

In a few weeks.
I take it a priest of Tyr would be acceptable?

I believe that a priest of Tyr would be fine ma'am.
We would appreciate as much notice as possible, ma'am. It helps in the organisation - and of course reduces the chances that someone else might arrange their wedding for the same time.

She thinks. Better come up with a date now.
Is the 20th available still?

Let me look...
*She pulls out a book and starts paging through it. She comes to the relevant page, and pores over it for a minute.*
That date is still possible yes. Any time of day is possible, if Madam Eowung can reschedule one appointment.
Alternatively, we have two hours available on the 22nd, starting around sunset. That would be at the cheaper last-day rate, of course.
Which would you prefer?

Sunset? She shakes her head. That won't do.
The 20th then. Around the midday, it that's possible.

THe 20th, around midday?
*She looks at the book, thinking carefully.*
I think that will be acceptable. How long for?
Please understand that it takes approximately 15 minutes to ready the hall for a service, another 15 to set out for a reception. So you will need to allow time for those in your rental.
Also I will need to clear this with Madam Eng'winden before confirming the booking, as ceauty client appointments will need to be rescheduled to accommodate you.

The service itself shouldn't take that long. Reception though...hmm.
Excluding the set-up times, about half an hour for the service, and about two hours for the reception. We also have our own caterer.
