There are several buildings in the Bazaar that have one purpose, which it proudly proclaims on the sign before its door; It is there to exchange money for the local currency, which is the usual Planar trade money known as Jink. Jink goes on a 2/1 with gold.
Products can be sold here for Jink as well.
Alexander, a brilliant man, owns the business. He misses nothing and knows the value of everything, including people.

Alexander had finally finished paying off the merchants who lost so much when the bank went under. He wasn't happy about losing Orilles. He was a good man. Highly useful.
"A real pity, that."
He proceeded to cross Orilles' name off of a long list. After that, he picked up his reports on the activities of the city. Most of it isn't very interesting, save for a bit on yet another Planeswalker setting up shop in Eluria. He keeps looking through the reports until he sees something about a wedding. He frowned, wondering what caught his attention... ah, the name. Satorius. What was Black Heart doing here? He thought for a moment and checked earlier reports, only to find that he has been here for awhile now. He sighed at his busy schedule, setting aside more time to actually read these reports. He needed to check with his "friend" on these people.
Speaking of friends...
He opened the report from said friend and read up on what was known about this Lord Brend.

He finishes reading the reports on the new guild and sets that aside, along with the rather boring report about some pyromaniac in the City Centre. The reward was ok, but it wasn't enough to get excited about by any means. Besides, he was profiting from the chaos the fool boy was creating.
He notices a letter on his desk and opens it, taking out his reading glasses to make out Rumerin's extremely neat, insanely small handwriting. His eyes were still good, but he prefered to be able to spot everything in a letter from this particular friend. When he finishes the letter, he writes out a reply, anwering, quite simply, that yes, he is very much alright. In fact, he was great. He smiled as he left it at that, wondering what Rumerin would think. He handed it to the man he called in, telling him to deliver it to the Nightshade HQ, if he would. The man quickly did so.

Alexander goes over the new reports on his desk, smiling happily at the progress of his teams. It shouldn't take too much longer now.
He stops when he comes across the very interesting report of the two newest residents of Caleria. So... he now has two Vestrans to worry about. Just wonderful.

Blue finds herself in the main Exchange rooms, with people behind glass panels exchanging money and buying and buying objects from people in need of jink. One of the employees walks up to Blue, knowing her full well.
"Hello again. I see you brought in a new shipment. Good, good. Here, follow me."
He leads Blue through large double doors made for such things. Men close the doors behind them and he lifts the cover and frowns.
"What happened here?"

*She looks completely unmoved (well, she is, she's yet to be moved by anything ) and just looks at the man.* She got herself killed on our doorstep. We thought it good and proper to bring her back here.

We thought it good and proper to bring her back here. The man rolls his eyes and is about to ask more when Alexander walks down the stairs and gestures for him to remain silent. "Thank you, Blue. That was very kind. Please, give Denar my thanks."

The men open the double doors and let Blue out, closing it behind her. Alexander doesn't bother looking at the body, knowing that its return to him meant success. Whistling as he walked back upstairs, he was already drawing up plans for the next team as his men took Crystal's remains to the one of the furnaces that warm the building, tossing in some herbs to hide the stench of cooked meat after removing all of everything she owned and fixing it up to be sold later.

So much had gone wrong after it had began. He was still baffled by the reports of strange creatures who sung to slay their foes, and the whispers that now inhabit the sewers. It made getting what was supposed to be down there very, very difficult.
Alexander sighed. Well, he hadn't lost much on it, and the insurance stocks on magic attacks had skyrocketed after that barrier. More than a few lost their lives testing it, so people got edgy, as usual. Which, of course, put money in Alexander's pockets. It wasn't a complete waste.
Alexander signed the document on the latest sell and a cart departed from the Exchange, heading to the portals.

Kage sets the object and documents down on Alexander's desk and waits in silence. He seemed to have just appeared from nowhere.

Alexander glances at the documents to make sure they are the correct ones. After that, he examines the object... the sword of Lord Didymus Grissom. Yes, everything was authentic and in perfect condition. He was used to the man appearing like that.
"Thanks again, Kage. Always a pleasure doing business with you."
He opened a drawer and set the pouch on the desk.

Kage takes the pouch, not bothering to check its contents. Alexander never under pays someone and overpays only for a job well done. The pouch felt a little heavier than it should have, which meant the latter was probably the case.
Kage nods and disappears.

The four walk in, looking around. Seeing various people standing and looking officious, Alethea goes over to one.
"Excuse me sir. My associates and I are seeking to purchase, or possibly rent, a property in this ciy for an indefinite stay. Might you have some person acquainted with the city who might advise us?
The man, after a swift double-take, points her in the right direction. He follows her qith his eyes as she walks to the right desk.
"Pardon me, but we - my associates and I - are seeking a property in this city for an indefinite stay. What is available?"
