The black haired, blue eyed gentleman raises an eyebrow, his robes ruffling slightly as he moved his hand towards the drawers of the desk. He pulls out a number of documents and brushes his hand across them, thinking. "A very strange request. I can't think of anywhere in Pygmalion that would fit that description, but I know of a place in Veneficus that does. Part of the roof was blown off by an experiment that went awry. Most of the magical residue has been removed. All told, that place goes for about 10,000 gp, or 20,000 Jink." He pulls open one of the files and turns it around to face the two buyers. The place is indeed large, though there are signs of disrepair here and there. "Basicaly, I've designed an engine that can open portals to different Planes using sunlight to power it. Anyway, I've only got about 5,000 jink spare at the moment, the rest I need to actualy set up, I need but tell you what. After I set the portal up, I'll start some mining in the Plane of Earth. Then, as soon as I've got enough spare cash, I'll pay you an additional 10,000. If we die, then you gain possession of the portal and all my items and blueprints. Deal?"

"An interesting concept, but there are a number of problems: first and foremost is that you may have to clear such an object with Councillor Rift, head of the Planar side of the council. Second, if any match your payement, you will have to leave. If any surpass it, then you will have to leave and they will gain possession of the place. You would get a refund, of course.
We need something a little more firm than an if, however. Can you show me an alternative method of obtaining income?"

If needs be, I can scrap the "if" plan, and simply offer you a few magical items, or make new ones for you. I've got about 10,000 worth of items I can spare at the moment. In truth, that's why I'm underfunded, because I've been developing items for a while too long. Is this more acceptable? Oh, and where would I find Counciler Rift?"

"It's more firm. Here, let's settle on this: if you can sell 5,000 jink's worth of items over the next month, than there will be no doubt you can procure more jink to pay the full price. There will be a slight increase in price, but it will be taken care of over monthly installements.
If he has returned from where ever he was when Councillor Lunaria went mad, he should be in the Spire. You may need to make an appointment ahead of time if you wish to meet him."

I'll head to the spire and if I get conformation, I'll return and pay for the building. I'll see you later, good sir." Tylis bows, and strolls out the door, yanking Ark past anyone who tries to sell him anything.

Ark and Tylis re-enter the building, and approach the man they were speaking with before. "Hem, good day. We got clearance with Counciler Rift, so we will indeed be purchasing the property. Through a few sales of items, I can now pay 7,500 jink right now, and I'll be able to pay a lot more once I've set up my portal. Could I purchase the property now?"

"7,500 Jink is 3,250 gp. I'd prefer a higher down payment, but it will lay claim on it for now. Since you have clearance from the Councilor, I will say yes for now. If, for some reason, you should die on the premises, all belongings will pass to us, as per the original agreement, to pay off the rest of the debt.
You can pay for the rest through monthly installements. We'll work those out later."

Thank you, sir, may I have the keys and adress?" Tylis hands the bag of money over, and rubs his hand together.

"Yes. I was only waiting for the pay."
Zane opens the bag and shuffles through the contents, examining everything within it and using spells to ensure that they are as they seem. When satisfied, he handed the keys to Tylis.
"It's near the gate leading out of Pygmalion. Impossible to miss, it has a large hole in the roof and is five steps from the wall."
[Go ahead and make a thread for it. Easier for you to maintence than for me.]

"You're welcome, and farewell. I hope you have a pleasant stay."
Zane goes back to his work.

Yvocca enters the Exchange and glances around. She has never been here before... She sets her hands on her hips and thinks about it, then she simply joins the shortest line and waits her turn.

There were som pretty hefty lines. The shortest one had nine people in it, and there were at least ten lines. However, it appears that this is a relatively slow day, considering the various signs and posts which indicate that these lines can be much, much longer.
The man in front of her fidgets constantly, a kind of smelly individual with a dirty coat. His blonde hair was greasy.

Yvocca waits patiently, but a person only has so much patience and Yvocca was never one of the truly gifted in that department.
"Stop fidgeting." she grumbles. "He ain't gonna eat you." He won't even want to touch you, she adds in thought.

The man pauses long enough to give her something between a glare and a yelp. Not much else happened. The line moved forward one patron.
